Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in medical billing, charge entry, or AR in healthcare.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS coding and modifiers.
• Experience with claims status review and AR follow-up.
• Ability to verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Proficient in Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsabilités

• Review and process charge sessions in Epic for accurate billing.
• Resolve charge review, claim edits, and follow-up queues.
• Enter charges manually and electronically with accuracy.
• Verify insurance benefits and patient eligibility.
• Correct billing and registration errors affecting submissions.
• Retrieve documentation to support charge capture and claims.
