Job summary

Rotech Healthcare is hiring a Billing Collection Generalist to join our Billing Center. You will complete special projects, contact payers and patients, and document all work in iWorkQ and eIntake.

The role offers a Mon-Fri 7am-5pm schedule with work-from-home after successful in-office training and meeting expectations. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and preferred experience in medical billing/collections with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in medical billing or collections preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Complete special billing projects as assigned by Billing Center manager.
• Interact with payer, patient, and location contacts as appropriate.
• Document work in iWorkQ and patient notes in eIntake.
• Maintain communication with locations and payers.
• Process adjustments in iWorkQ and doctor/insurance changes in eIntake.
• Flag payer trends to supervisor and resolve emails within 48 hours.
• Investigate unpaid claims and determine validity of adjustments.
• Handle special projects per BCD instructions.
• Collaborate with BCC Supervisor and Team Lead on issue resolution.
