Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Billing Collection Generalist for the Billing Center. You will handle special projects, interact with payers and patients, and ensure timely completion of tasks with supervisor guidance.

Starting pay is $15 per hour. The role offers a Mon-Fri schedule (7am–5pm) with the possibility to Work From Home after successful in-office training and proven performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Effective communication in English, both oral and written.
• Experience in medical administrative environments is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review re-billing audits for accuracy and obtain supervisor approval before posting.
• Contact payer, patient or location as appropriate.
• Document work in iWorkQ and patient notes in eIntake.
• Maintain good communication with locations and payers.
• Process adjustments in iWorkQ and changes in eIntake.
• Identify payer trends and report to supervisor; resolve emails within 48 hours.
• Assist with special projects as assigned by supervisor/manager.
