Job summary

Rotech Healthcare is seeking a Medical Billing & Collections ICT Specialist to join the Billing Center. The role focuses on timely insurance changes, managing RIE 5010, and proactive timeliness improvements.

The position offers a hybrid work model with in-office training and potential Work From Home after performance milestones. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and some experience in medical billing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with medical billing practices and billing reimbursement preferred.
• Medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• All manual re-billing audits are reviewed for accuracy and submitted for supervisor approval.
• Contacts payer, patient or location as appropriate.
• Documents all work done in eIntake notes and NATs.
• Ensures appropriate authorizations are obtained/included.
• Maintains communication with locations and payers, including identified errors.
• Processes adjustments within billing system and changes in eIntake and Billing systems.
