Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Medical Billing & Collections Team Leader for our Billing Center. You will support a team of billing center staff to achieve their goals and improve collections performance.

Responsibilities include managing unpaid AR, distributing aging work, and ensuring payer communication while training staff on submission, collection and reconciliation processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in medical field and administrative record management preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage collections and reconcile unpaid accounts receivable.
• Distribute AR aging assignments and follow up with payers.
• Communicate with payers and reconcile batches.
• Review and approve adjustment requests and audits.
• Train staff on claims submission, collections, appeals, and reconciliation processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
