Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to use phone and email etiquette.
• Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions.
• Experience handling customer inquiries and resolving billing complaints.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance codes (HCPC/ICD-9).

Responsibilities

• Service customer accounts and ensure timely remittance.
• Follow up with payers to facilitate uninterrupted cash flow.
• Edit and resubmit claims for payment as needed.
• Prepare and review clean claims for submission to insurances; electronic or paper.
