Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years combined medical billing and payment experience.
• Knowledge of state, federal, and third party claims processing.
• Knowledge of state & federal collections guidelines.
• Must complete required e-learning courses within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Monitor delinquent accounts and perform collection duties.
• Review reports, research and resolve issues.
• Review payment postings for accuracy and current balances.
• Collaborate with co-workers to resolve insurance payment and billing errors.
• Communicate with patients to secure past due balances and document conversations.
