Energy Innovation Corp. is seeking a Medical Assistant to support remote patient care and medication reconciliation with a strong emphasis on clear communication and patient advocacy.

The role focuses on coordinating care, performing point-of-care testing, and managing remote patient panels in collaboration with clinicians. Ideal candidates will have experience translating Cerner complexities for a non-technical audience, knowledge of Tracheostomy and Pediatric care, and the ability to present

Qualifications

• Experience translating Cerner complexity for a non-technical audience.
• Working understanding of Tracheostomy Care and Pediatric Care in real-world settings.
• Comfortable presenting ideas to stakeholders at every level.
• A Seattle network, or the hustle to build one from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Hand off at shift change using SBAR, leaving zero gaps for the incoming Medical Assistant.
• Draw labs, run point-of-care testing, and flag abnormal panels to the supervising clinician.
• Manage a remote panel of chronic patients, calling between visits when Cerner numbers drift.
• Advocate for patient comfort, dignity, and informed consent.
• Read intake histories for the red flags a rushed mid-level provider might skip past.
• Field Tracheostomy Care questions from families with plain language, never jargon, at the Seattle, WA bedside.
