Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Health Benefits, is seeking a Program Analyst I (NS) to lead Medicaid policy development and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.

You will supervise a policy research and drafting team, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and maintain documentation to support audits and program integrity. Remote work options are available under EHRA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and three years progressively responsible experience in Medicaid policy or related area.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience may qualify.
• Ability to interpret and evaluate complex legal and regulatory documents.
• Experience guiding policy development and ensuring compliance across Medicaid operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Medicaid policy development, implementation, and maintenance.
