The role emphasizes developing technical depth with opportunities to lead projects and mentor colleagues over time. Remote work is available, with Seattle or Chicago a plus for some teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience analyzing large data sets.
• Experience with SAS, SQL, or Python for data analysis.
• Ability to write or learn SAS code without GUI is required.
• Experience with SQL, Python, and/or Databricks preferred.
• Interest in detail-oriented analytical work and healthcare data.
• Strong verbal and written communication of technical concepts.
• Experience analyzing Medicaid claims is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze healthcare data, including claims, services, and cost data.
• Design, develop, and use data models; review model outputs.
• Support Medicaid policy research and analysis.
• Prepare client reports and PowerPoint presentations.
• Contribute to Milliman's quality control processes by reviewing colleagues' work.
