Responsibilities

• Review uninsured/under-insured patients for program eligibility and initiate the application process.
• Communicate with patients to obtain documents needed for the application.
• Follow-up on submitted applications to ensure timely billing or adjustments.
• Document actions in patient accounting systems.
• Maintain knowledge of state and federal program requirements and collaborate with Medicaid partners.
