Job summary

Gainwell Technologies seeks a Business Analyst - Medicaid Claims. You will analyze and design business processes to support healthcare clients and use data to improve health outcomes.

You’ll bridge clients, project managers and technical staff to capture, track and communicate requirements throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of healthcare BA experience, 2–5 years in claims, strong Excel skills, and a track record of process improvements.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of Business Analyst experience in healthcare.
• 2-5 years of Claims experience.
• Knowledge of basic programming concepts.
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, plan, design, document and make recommendations to improve business processes to support client's technological aspirations
• Be a supportive bridge between clients, project managers and technical personnel to define, track and communicate business requirements and their expected impact by building basic conceptual data and process models
• Create, execute or analyze basic test scenarios to verify that client requirements are built into system design
• Ensure that "intent of change" is carried out through every project phase by participating in technical reviews and inspections
