Job summary

Fortuna BMC is hiring a full-time Medi-Cal Call Center Agent to support members and providers in a high-volume inbound environment. The role is remote with a 100-mile radius requirement around Sacramento, CA. Training is seven weeks, paid, from November 2nd, with a $18.00 hourly wage.

Expectations include typing 30 WPM, 95% accuracy, and meet KPIs like attendance and call quality. A laptop is provided, and benefits begin after 90 days. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• This position requires six months of recent, high-volume inbound call center experience.
• Healthcare exposure such as Medi-Cal/Medicaid is preferred.
• Typing speed must be at least 30 WPM with 95% accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Handle a continuous volume of inbound Medi-Cal calls.
• Research policies using an internal Wiki to respond accurately.
• Navigate multiple systems while on calls and document interactions clearly.
• Follow scripts, verification requirements, and escalation procedures.
• Maintain performance metrics like AHT, attendance, QA scores.
