Job summary

Raytheon Technologies seeks a Commodity Supplier Assurance Engineer focused on mechanical suppliers in the northeast. The role is fully remote with travel to MA; 40 hours weekly and security clearance required.

You will ensure quality flow-down, assess supplier capabilities, and lead RCCA-driven improvements across the program lifecycle. Required is a STEM degree and 8+ years in quality or supplier management, with Six Sigma/lean experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in quality or supplier management and/or manufacturing.
• Experience with RCCA processes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Interpret purchase order quality notes and quality requirements to ensure subcontractor/supplier understanding.
• Ensure flow down of product requirements to internal teams and sub-tier suppliers.
• Assess supplier quality capabilities throughout the program life cycle to meet objectives.
• Identify supplier risk and implement root-cause corrective actions with closure plans.
• Drive continuous product/process improvements using Six Sigma and lean methodologies.
• Collaborate with other Quality functions and Cross Business Teams to close issues quickly.
• Ensure Subcontract Data Requirements List deliverables are met.
• Support First Article Verification and Source Inspection.
