Job summary

Trillium Staffing is seeking an experienced Mechanical Sales Rep to develop new business and support existing industrial customers in Madison, IL. This primarily remote role combines technical sales, customer support, troubleshooting, and relationship management.

You will deliver technical presentations, identify product and system needs with customers and engineers, and drive orders while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of sales experience.
• At least 1 year of industrial or mechanical experience.
• Strong communication, technical presentation, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently in a primarily remote position, with occasional required meetings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical presentations on products and services.
• Work with customers, engineers, and internal teams to identify product and system needs.
• Generate new orders, renew existing business, and coordinate job completion.
• Troubleshoot customer equipment or process issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Provide ongoing sales support and build long-term client relationships.
• Meet monthly and annual revenue goals.
• Stay current on industrial and mechanical market trends.
