Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Mechanical Process Engineer to join our client’s team in the United States. The role is primarily remote, with occasional in-person visits to the Brooklyn Park, MN area, and up to 25% travel to client sites.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, 5+ years of related experience, and strong AutoCAD skills to edit 2D process flow diagrams. Experience in fluid handling and pump/valve sizing is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical/process engineering.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for 2D process flow diagrams.
• Experience with fluid handling, piping, pumping, and routing; willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Edit 2D process flow diagrams in AutoCAD.
• Design and detail machines based on system requirements.
• Perform calculations related to flow process design, pump sizing, and valve sizing.
• Visit client locations to verify that designs match equipment.
