Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Mechanical Process Engineer for a client-facing role in the Brooklyn Park, MN area. The position is primarily remote, with occasional in-office visits in Brooklyn Park, MN, and travel to client sites up to 25% of the time.

You will edit AutoCAD-based process diagrams, size pumps and valves, and verify designs on site. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 5+ years of experience and a strong background in fluid handling and piping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with fluid handling, piping, pumping, routing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Edit 2D process flow diagrams in AutoCAD.
• Design and detail machines based on system requirements.
• Perform calculations related to flow process design, pump sizing, valve sizing.
• Visit client sites to verify that designs match equipment.
