Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a mechanically focused Mechanical Process Engineer to join a reputable client. The role is primarily remote with occasional in-office meetings in Brooklyn Park, MN, and up to 25% travel to client sites.

The engineer will edit AutoCAD process flow diagrams, design machines, and perform flow-related calculations. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience, with strong AutoCAD proficiency and fluid-handling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience is required.
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD.
• Past work experience in fluid handling, piping, pumping, routing etc.

Responsibilities

• Edit 2D process flow diagrams in AutoCAD
• Design and detail out machines based on requirements of the systems
• Perform calculations related to flow process design, pump sizing, valve sizing, etc.
• Visit client locations and walk through equipment verifying that process flow designs match the equipment
