Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a mechanical Process Engineer with fluid handling expertise to join our client’s team in the United States. The role offers predominantly remote work, with periodic in-person days at the Brooklyn Park, MN office and up to 25% travel to client sites.

The candidate will edit AutoCAD-based 2D process flow diagrams, design machines, perform flow-related calculations, and verify designs on-site at customer locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience is required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Past work experience in fluid handling, piping, pumping, routing, etc.
• Must be able to travel up to 25%, domestically.

Responsibilities

• Edit 2D process flow diagrams in AutoCAD.
• Design and detail out machines based on system requirements.
• Perform calculations related to flow process design, pump sizing, valve sizing, etc.
• Visit client locations and verify process flow designs match equipment.
