Job summary

Denea Group Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical/Plant Layout Designer to create clear, detailed drawings from concept to IFC. You will lead design work, implement standards, and work with engineers, vendors and clients while supporting remote collaboration across the US.

The role emphasizes plant layout, mechanical/piping design, and 2D/3D drafting with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, ReCap, and Revit. Travel for site visits may be required to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary design or mechanical engineering qualification is required.
• Experience in plant layout and piping design is essential.
• Proven drafting skills with 2D/3D tools and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models for equipment, piping and supports.
• Prepare drawings from concept through IFC and for permits.
• Incorporate vendor drawings into 3D/2D models and coordinate scanning data.
• Collaborate with project engineers, designers, vendors and clients.
• Conduct site verification as required and support project delivery.
