Job summary

JST seeks a Mechanical Engineering leader in Idaho to guide a team delivering mechanical and plumbing designs, fabrication drawings, and comprehensive BOMs for precision cleaning tools worldwide.

You will own engineering execution, plan resources, set design standards, and drive cost, schedule, and performance targets while collaborating with Electrical, Controls, Manufacturing, and Project Management teams. SolidWorks experience is required, along with 3D/2D CAD skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Three years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
• Proficient with 3D modeling in SolidWorks and 2D fabrication drawings.
• Familiar with manufacturing processes and best practices.
• Ability to read electrical and plumbing schematics from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Lead and approve mechanical and automation system designs including plumbing and tank systems.
• Develop and review system specifications based on feasibility, cost, and performance.
• Provide feedback on manufacturing questions and RFI responses.
• Own engineering execution to meet scope, schedule, and cost targets.
• Drive design changes and update drawings, routers, and BOMs to close discrepancies.
