US Foods is seeking a Mechanical Engineer - Refrigeration for a fully remote role in the United States. You will design and optimize ammonia/CO2/Freon refrigeration systems, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and support capital projects across the enterprise.

Responsibilities include system design, technical documentation, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial refrigeration with NH3 and Freon systems.
• Strong knowledge of PSM/RMP compliance and OSHA/EPA standards.
• Experience on capital projects, commissioning, and upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and support industrial refrigeration systems (NH3/CO2/Freon).
• Develop standards, specs, and system documentation.
• Provide field engineering support during outages and repairs.
• Assist with commissioning, startup, and system acceptance.
• Collaborate with operations, facilities, and EHS teams.
