Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on mechanical design engineering experience with CAD modeling and FEA.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, NX, Creo or CATIA and multi-platform expertise is preferred.
• Ability to interpret and produce comprehensive technical drawings and documentation.
• Strong understanding of stress analysis, FEA principles and engineering validation.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 3D CAD models of simple mechanical components using CAD platforms.
• Interpret drawings, identify critical dimensions, tolerances, and specs.
• Document component requirements and tolerances clearly.
• Contribute to conceptual stress analysis and FEA tasks for model validation.
• Review and enhance CAD outputs and documentation for accuracy.
• Provide written and verbal feedback to train AI system outputs in ME context.
• Collaborate asynchronously with cross-functional teams remotely to meet project goals.
