Qualifications

• At least 6 years in mechanical design/analysis with advanced materials specialization.
• Experience with material characterization, testing, and failure analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze mechanical components using advanced materials (composites, alloys, ceramics, polymers).
• Research material properties, performance, and manufacturing processes for mechanical applications.
• Develop protocols and perform experimental evaluations of materials and components.
• Use FEA/CFD to predict material behavior and system performance.
• Collaborate virtually with R&D teams, partners, and academics to advance initiatives.
• Create technical reports, specs, and design documentation for new materials.
