The ideal candidate has a master’s in mechanical engineering, 9+ years of design leadership, and expert CAD/CAE skills (SolidWorks Premium, ANSYS, COMSOL). Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 9 years in mechanical design with leadership experience.
• Proven track record leading complex mech design from concept to production.
• Proficient in CAD/CAE tools such as SolidWorks Premium, ANSYS, and COMSOL.
• Strong manufacturing, materials science, and product development knowledge.
• Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration in remote settings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication for senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex mechanical systems ensuring integrity and innovation.
• Define project scope, objectives, and technical requirements with stakeholders.
• Mentor a team of mechanical engineers providing technical leadership.
• Conduct design reviews, performance analyses, and risk assessments.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, P&IDs, and manufacturing specs.
• Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation phases.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement in the mechanical design process.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
