Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. seeks highway and bridge construction inspectors to support projects across Maryland, including Anne Arundel, Montgomery, and Baltimore counties. Candidates should work independently or with project teams and accommodate day, night, and weekend shifts as required.

Formación

• MDOT SHA/MDTA or other DOT construction inspection experience preferred.
• Certifications such as MDOT SHA Yellow Card and MARTCP testing helpful.
• NICET certification is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel; basic computer and mobile skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily field inspections and observations of contractor’s work on highway and/or bridge projects.
• Measure, record, and maintain contract quantities for contractor payment.
• Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and standards.
• Perform and/or observe material sampling and testing per project standards.
• Ensure contractor’s work/materials meet standards and specifications.
• Document daily project progress, including work performed and conformance with plans.
• Enter project progress, materials, payments, and documentation in Word/Excel or other software.
• Identify and communicate project issues to project managers and the contractor.
• Identify, assess, and communicate unsafe conditions on site.
