Job summary

Padmore Global Connections LLC seeks a Communications Specialist to join the MCH Helpline in Indiana. You will answer calls, refer families to community resources, and help connect mothers and children with services statewide.

You will screen for barriers, provide information, and coordinate with home visiting programs, early childhood services, and education partners. The role requires strong communication, empathy, and the ability to multitask under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• Knowledge of social services and providers in Indiana.
• Excellent listening and ability to assess needs for referrals.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure; bilingual skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Handle high volume incoming/outgoing calls daily.
• Identify client barriers and bridge to appropriate resources.
• Follow up with clients to ensure service quality.
• Maintain filing system for all cases and prepare reports.
• Attend meetings and trainings to stay updated on best practices.
