Job summary

IntelliBee is seeking a MCH Communication Specialist in Indianapolis to provide information, referrals, and resources to mothers, pregnant women, and families. You will answer calls, identify barriers, and link clients to home visiting services and state resources.

The role requires knowledge of Indiana’s maternal and child health programs, strong communication, and the ability to follow up to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications /Social Work or Information Technology, Education, Special Education, Home Visiting or related health or human services field.
• Experience in social services referrals and information and referral (I&R) services preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to document interactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and identify barriers to accessing services.
• Bridge gaps between families and community resources and referrals.
• Follow up with clients to ensure service quality and appropriate referrals.
• Develop knowledge of Indiana early childhood systems and eligibility processes.
• Prepare call data reports with metrics such as calls, referrals, and needs.
