Job summary

JRAD seeks candidates to support DEVCOM CBC with MBSE-driven modeling of DoD CBRND requirements. You will develop models, establish requirements traceability, and improve interoperability across tools and life‑cycle stages.

Role emphasizes collaboration with software engineers, government clients and a DevSecOps team, using SysML/UML and MBSE frameworks to deliver mission‑critical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with MBSE and systems architecture.
• Familiarity with configuration management and requirements traceability.
• Proficiency with MBSE tools (MagicDraw/Cameo, DOORS, etc.).
• Knowledge of UML/SysML preferred.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed system models integrating sub‑system models across domains.
• Create a centralized configuration management environment and ensure requirements traceability.
• Apply UML/SysML and MBSE methods to support DoD mission‑critical programs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build software solutions.
• Develop frameworks to connect system models, analysis tools and visualization environments.
• Perform trade studies, functional analysis, and interface definitions within Agile/DevSecOps contexts.
• Engage with customers, teammates and partners to gather feedback.
