Zusammenfassung

NewsBreak is seeking an MBA-level Business Development & Strategy Intern to own a merchant-acquisition initiative end-to-end, from market research to leadership-ready recommendation. You’ll independently map the local landscape and build your own target list.

In this role you’ll test channels and messaging, negotiate with small-business owners, and report weekly on outreach metrics and pipeline, culminating in a final strategy presentation.

Qualifikationen

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills and comfort with data in spreadsheets.
• Currently pursuing an MBA or equivalent graduate business program.
• Experience in consulting, sales, BD, or a startup is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• High tolerance for ambiguity and rejection; hands-on, 0-to-1 mindset.

Aufgaben

• Own merchant-acquisition initiative end-to-end from market research to leadership-ready recommendation.
• Map local service-provider landscape and identify opportunity density and channels.
• Build scoring framework and target lists; reach out with tailored messaging.
• Lead outreach, handle objections, and manage onboarding conversations through close.
• Maintain a disciplined CRM/spreadsheet pipeline with stages and next steps.
• Deliver a final go-forward strategy and present it to the team.
