NewsBreak, the Content Intelligence platform, is seeking an MBA-level intern for Nearby.ai to own a merchant-acquisition initiative end-to-end—from market research and territory selection to outreach and deal closure.

You’ll build a target list, pitch local business owners, and develop a data-driven business case with measurable outcomes, working in a fully remote setting with flexible hours. Compensation is paid, $40-60 hourly.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an MBA with a focus in business strategy or sales.
• Strong quantitative skills and ability to analyze data to drive decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with comfort contacting business owners.

Responsibilities

• Own merchant-acquisition initiatives from market research to close.
• Build target lists and outreach plans for local service providers.
• Develop a simple business case and present recommendations to leadership.
• Draft outreach scripts and partnership proposals.
• Report weekly on outreach metrics and pipeline.
