NewsBreak is seeking an MBA-level Business Development & Strategy Intern to own a merchant-acquisition initiative end-to-end—from market research and territory selection, through self-sourced outreach and negotiation, to data-driven analysis and a final recommendation to leadership.

This remote internship offers 20-40 hours per week, 3-6 months, paid compensation of $40-60 per hour, and the opportunity to deliver real business impact at a high-growth startup ecosystem.

Qualifications

• MBA student with strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Self-directed, able to build a plan and execute it end-to-end.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with frontline outreach experience.

Responsibilities

• Own market and territory strategy for merchant acquisition.
• Develop self-sourced outreach and manage a live pipeline.
• Perform data-driven analysis and build a business case for focus areas.
• Draft outreach scripts and partnership proposals; lead conversations to close.
• Report weekly on outreach metrics and share actionable insights.
