Global Impact Group LLC is seeking Maymay–English over-the-phone interpreters to support its USCIS contract. This remote role offers a flexible schedule, paid training, and opportunities for advancement as you contribute to immigration proceedings.

Applicants must be native or near-native in Maymay and English, have 2+ years of interpreting experience, and be eligible for U.S. federal clearance. Duties include real-time telephonic interpretation with confidentiality and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Maymay and English.
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience.
• Strong understanding of interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and neutrality.
• Excellent telephone communication skills; accuracy under pressure.
• U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status eligible for Tier 3/5 federal clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Maymay - English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.
• Interpret accurately, impartially, and with cultural sensitivity in immigration and legal contexts.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with USCIS/DHS interpreter standards.
• Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge calls.
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance reviews.
