Job summary

Maine Connections Academy is seeking a Math Interventionist for a 1-year, full-time, 10-month grant-funded role based in Maine. The teacher will deliver intensive math support from home with monthly in-person sites, using data to diagnose needs and drive instruction.

The role requires Maine Math certification, experience with differentiation, and strong Google Suite skills. Attendance at occasional events and some remote work are expected.

Qualifications

• Maine Teacher Certification in Math (Grades 7-12) required.
• Experience with multiple grade levels and differentiated instruction.
• Strong technology skills, especially Google Suite.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily Tier 3 math instruction to individual students and small groups.
• Collaborate with administration and staff to improve math achievement.
• Monitor data and adapt interventions based on progress.
• Deliver synchronous instruction using the Pearson Online Classroom.
• Build positive relationships with teachers and parents and other staff.
