Job summary

Nearmap is seeking a Materials & Repair Estimate Operations Specialist to support the Technical Repair Estimate team. The role focuses on quality assurance and analytics for wood cabinet and furniture repair estimates, with remote work within the continental United States.

Key duties include reviewing submitted estimates, ensuring completion of components, and producing accurate valuations using Xactimate. The position supports the team in meeting SLAs and improving process efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• At least two (2) years of administrative experience.
• General knowledge of woodwork, refinishing, and restoration.
• Strong customer service orientation; strong attention to detail.
• Effective problem solving; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates integrity and ethics; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Reviews estimates and files completed by the Technical Repair Estimator team to ensure that the submitter’s request has been met.
• Confirms completion of estimate, support components, billings, and close out the file.
• Uses software such as Xactimate to provide valuations of wood cabinetry/furniture and compare with repair estimates to decide disposition.
• Follows up on incomplete file submissions.
• Communicates next steps to team members.
• Assists Operations Manager with analysis of team metrics; monitors cycle times.
• Identifies process improvements and proposes changes to the Operations Manager.
• Delivers clear, accurate estimates and replacement valuations meeting submitter needs.
• Supports the department in meeting Service Level Agreements.
• Ensures proper file completion and queue management; improves efficiency.
