Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Material Program Manager to join the Design Agent branch of the Air and Missile Defense Radar AN/SPY-6(V) integration and production support efforts. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starter capable of developing and achieving program objectives in a matrix environment and successfully interface with functional and program leadership.

You’ll create and execute Material Program Strategies and Plans to ensure flawless execution from the front

Qualifications

• University Degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years relevant experience, or Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement.

Responsibilities

• Generate RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and obtain supplier proposals/quotes.
• Create material requests and short text purchase requests (RFM/STPR).
• Drive Purchase Requisition generation and PO placement/management.
• Adhere to policies and procedures to perform MPM tasks.
• Collaborate with production control and procurement to orchestrate task handoffs.
• Coordinate with program cross-functional teams for supply chain requests.
• Facilitate creation or updates of PIA’s and NDA’s for new suppliers.
• Work with Procurement to streamline PO cycle time.
