Job summary

ComTec Information Systems (IT) is seeking a Material Logistics Inventory Specialist in Cary, NC. The role focuses on managing consignment, trunk stock and tool inventories for the CX Field organization, with remote work for initial onboarding and training.

The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of inventory/logistics experience, strong SAP and MS Office skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This 12-month assignment requires residing in the greater Raleigh-Durham area.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; BS in Supply Chain Logistics preferred.
• 5-8 years of experience in inventory/logistics or related area.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage consignment, trunk stock and tool inventory for CX Field organization.
• Assist field with spare part and tool/test inventories; provide reporting and analysis.
• Prepare and perform annual physical inventory activities per guidelines.
• Coordinate with Field Management and internal teams for escalations and recounts.
• Reconcile inventory across SAP, CSE, and Calibration with minimal variance.
• Handle inventory errors, PO posting issues, and tool order problems.
