TekWissen is seeking a Supply Chain | Logistics Specialist to manage consignment, trunk stock, and tool inventory for the CX Field organization in Cary, NC. The role supports spare parts and tool inventories, with reporting and annual physical inventory duties.

The ideal candidate has experience in inventory management, SAP, and Excel, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment on-site. This temporary assignment runs for 12 months with a scheduled 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM shift.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree required in supply chain or related field.
  • 5–8 years logistics or inventory experience preferred.
  • SAP experience in a customized enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage consignment, trunk stock, and tool inventory for CX Field organization.
  • Provide reporting and analysis related to inventory management activities.
  • Coordinate annual physical inventory in accordance with accounting guidelines.
  • Support inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and process improvement initiatives.

Position Summary
  • Responsible for managing consignment, trunk stock, and tool inventory for the CX Field organization.
  • Assist the Field organization with spare parts and tool & test inventories.
  • Provide reporting and analysis related to inventory management activities.
  • Prepare and perform annual physical inventory activities in accordance with accounting guidelines.

Inventory Management Responsibilities
  • Provide inventory support services over the phone and online for Customer Service Engineers and business partners.
  • Support inventory accuracy, reporting, reconciliation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in resolving inventory-related issues and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
Customer Administration Support
  • Process reversals for incorrect billings.
  • Support serial number error escalations related to the installed base.
Memphis Returns Support
  • Resolve return processing errors and issues.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements to reduce errors.
  • Research and follow up with CSML regarding missing parts in Memphis.
Physical Inventory Management
  • Coordinate and schedule physical inventory activities with Field Management.
  • Execute physical inventory activities with the Field organization in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile inventory between SAP, CSE, and Calibration systems while maintaining minimal variance.
  • Work closely with Customer Service Engineers and Management teams for escalations and material recounts.
  • Follow up on inventory transactions that were processed incorrectly during physical inventory activities.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Error Handling and Support
  • Resolve tool order failures.
  • Prepare inventory reports and analytical reporting as required.
  • Support inventory management process improvements and issue resolution.

Preferred Experience
  • Material logistics background.
  • 5–8 years of logistics or inventory-related experience preferred.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience will also be considered.
  • SAP experience, preferably within a customized enterprise environment.
  • Microsoft Excel skills including basic lookup functions and reporting support.
  • Inventory reconciliation and audit support experience.
Education
  • Associate’s Degree required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline preferred.
