Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Logistics Project Professional to manage consignment, trunk stock, and tool inventory for the field organization in Cary, NC. This role supports spare part and tool/test inventories, provides reporting and analysis, and coordinates annual physical inventories in line with accounting guidelines.

The position will assist with the transition to SAP integration and collaborate with Customer Service Engineers, management, and logistics providers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• 5-8 years in material logistics or inventory management preferred; 1-2 years considered.
• Experience with SAP or similar inventory management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Basic Excel skills including lookups.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide inventory support to CSEs and partners by phone and online.
• Assist Customer Administration with service report error resolutions and reversals.
• Support returns processing and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Manage consignment, trunk stock, spare parts, tools, and test inventories.
• Provide inventory reporting and analysis as required.
• Coordinate and schedule physical inventory with Field Management.
• Reconcile inventory between SAP, CSE, and calibration records.
• Work with teams on escalations and material recounts.
• Resolve PO posting errors and tool order failures.
• Prepare reports and analyses related to inventory management.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders across operations.
