Job summary

Hartz is seeking an accomplished Customer Business Manager – Mass Channel to drive revenue and profit across Target and Walmart. This role blends brick-and-mortar sales with ecommerce leadership, guiding omnichannel strategy and execution while collaborating with the Walmart Customer Development team.

You will analyze data, develop growth plans, and travel up to 25% to engage key customers. Remote work from Minneapolis Metro or Northwest Arkansas is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in business.
• 2+ years of direct sales experience calling on major accounts or 5+ years in lieu of degree.
• Experience managing Ecommerce retailers and growth agendas is a plus.
• Pet care industry background a plus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales and profit targets across all categories and manage approved trade spend budgets.
• Design, execute, and optimize annual business plans for Target and e-commerce accounts.
• Collaborate with retail buyers for shelf positioning and promotional space.
• Communicate strategies and brand guidelines to internal stakeholders for cohesive execution.
• Build data-driven selling stories for category reviews to secure new distribution.
• Lead omni-channel sales strategy for Target and Walmart in partnership with Customer Development.
