Placements24 is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to join a fully remote client team. You will design, implement, and optimize automated workflows to nurture leads and drive engagement across campaigns.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of hands-on experience with major automation platforms and a proven ability to analyze performance and collaborate across sales and marketing teams in a remote-first environment. Stay current with best practices to maximize ROI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, CS or related field.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms.
• Experience designing and implementing complex automation workflows and nurture campaigns.
• Strong understanding of lead management, segmentation, and data hygiene.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and their integration with marketing automation tools.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience with campaign performance reporting.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for remote teamwork.
• Certifications in major marketing automation platforms are a plus.
• Experience supporting marketing efforts in Gauteng region is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable marketing automation workflows, emails, and landing pages.
• Manage lead scoring and lead nurturing programs to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
• Develop and execute targeted email marketing campaigns using automation capabilities.
• Integrate marketing automation platforms with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Monitor and analyze the performance of automation campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
• Ensure data hygiene and segmentation within the marketing automation platform.
• Collaborate with content and demand generation teams to align automation strategies with campaign goals.
• Stay current with marketing automation best practices and emerging technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to marketing automation workflows and integrations.
• Develop training materials and provide support to other marketing team members on automation best practices.
