Job description

A Marketing Automation Specialist opportunity in the Greater Phoenix Arizona Area is now available through The Keller Group. We’re looking for a hands‑on marketer to create and improve programs that keep prospective customers engaged. You’ll reconnect with prospects who went quiet or chose another option, nurture new leads while they await follow‑up, and help interested prospects take the next step.

As the Marketing Automation Specialist, you’ll own the core nurture program: planning campaigns, building automated journeys, writing messages, and using results to make them better.

What you’ll do:
  • Build and own automated nurture and lead-recycling programs in Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot, including segmentation, triggers, and completion actions. Initial focus will be the existing pool of dormant leads who didn’t convert, cancelled, or chosen a competitor.
  • Keep new leads informed and engaged between intake and sales follow‑up with timely, coordinated nurture campaigns.
  • Create useful resources such as guides, calculators, and other opt‑in content that build the email and SMS audience and encourage prospects to take a next step.
  • Strategize and plan ongoing email and SMS campaigns for warm, mid‑funnel leads, helping them stay engaged and move toward the next step.
  • Draft and refine email and SMS messaging for nurture and re‑engagement campaigns, bringing a strong writing voice.
  • Use performance data to partner with digital marketing peers on which segments and channels to prioritize for nurture focus.
  • Assist in developing educational materials for prospects further along in their decision‑making journey, complementing top‑of‑funnel SEO content.
  • Once core nurture programs are established, contribute to other digital marketing initiatives, including content development and campaign execution, etc.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in lead generation or any high‑volume lead environment
  • Experience building automated, segmented workflows in a marketing platform such as Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot, HubSpot, Marketo, ActiveCampaign, or similar.
  • Comfort working in a CRM + experience with SMS marketing and familiarity with landing page or form‑building tools.
  • HTML/CSS skills for editing and building email templates
  • Skilled in writing when it comes to developing nurture and lifecycle content
  • Experience owning a marketing program from planning through execution, with results you can share.
  • Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly.
  • You thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, where bringing fresh ideas is highly encouraged, and taking accountability and ownership of your work and results.
