Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Specialist, Market Operations to provide frontline support for the Coinbase Derivatives Exchange and Deribit. The role runs 24/7 with cross-functional resolution of issues and deployment testing to protect production environments.

You will troubleshoot real-time trading, assist with investigations, and coordinate with product and engineering teams to launch updates and onboard clients and vendors across both exchanges.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Information Systems, Economics, Finance, or technical field with 1+ years in financial markets ops.
• Knowledge of listed futures or options with error trade analysis experience.
• Ability to diagnose complex technical problems and explain to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience delivering multi-channel support under high-volume, time-sensitive conditions.
• Familiarity with prediction markets, event contracts, FIX protocol, SQL, Salesforce or Jira is a plus.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own real-time functional and technical support for trading, clearing systems, and exchange apps across CDE and Deribit.
• Investigate and resolve customer inquiries related to exchange functionality, market events, connectivity, and schedules.
• Provide front-line support for investigations tied to exchange operations, including error trade analysis and resolution.
• Coordinate with product and development teams to launch new products and platform updates, and test deployments in pre-production.
• Support onboarding and ongoing enablement of clients and vendors across both exchanges.
• Identify, document, and recommend operational process improvements aligned with business growth.
