Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Specialist, Market Operations to provide real-time support for electronic trading, clearing systems, and exchange applications across CDE and Deribit.

You will investigate inquiries, assist with investigations, and collaborate with product teams to launch updates and conduct deployment testing. The role requires a BA/BS in a relevant field and 1+ years in financial markets operations or technical operations, with familiarity in futures/options and SQL.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Information Systems, Economics, Finance, or a technical field; 1+ years in financial markets operations or tech ops.
• Experience with listed futures or options; hands-on error trade analysis and resolution.
• Ability to diagnose and communicate complex technical problems to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own real-time functional and technical support for electronic trading, clearing systems, and exchange apps across CDE and Deribit.
• Investigate and resolve customer inquiries related to exchange functionality, market events, connectivity, product schedules, and tech
• Provide front-line support for internal/external investigations tied to exchange operations, including error trade analysis and resolution.
• Coordinate with product and development teams to launch new products, implement platform updates, and test deployments in pre-production environments.
• Support onboarding and ongoing operational enablement of clients and vendors across both exchanges, including prediction markets and event contracts listed on CDE.
• Identify, document, and recommend process improvements aligned with business objectives and platform growth.
