Whatnot seeks a Market Intelligence Manager / Senior Manager to Own how we understand the livestream shopping market and adjacent markets. You will turn fragmented data into a trusted picture of the market and spot future trends before they become urgent.

You’ll work with data engineering, analytics, sales, product, marketing, and leadership to ensure data backs decisions affecting product, pricing, and customer experience. The role is remote-friendly with hub offices in the US and abroad.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a data-driven field.
• 5-6+ years of experience in a rigorous analytical environment.
• Strong SQL, data infrastructure ownership, and data storytelling skills.
• Experience building dashboards and reports for varied audiences.
• Experience managing external vendor relationships and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor livestream market performance and compare Whatnot to peers.
• Own data sources and vendor relationships from evaluation to ongoing quality management.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting used by senior leaders.
• Translate imperfect external data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Own recurring market intelligence reporting and ensure it drives real decisions.
• Build tools and documentation to scale market intelligence and evaluate data sources continually.
