Job summary

Whatnot is hiring a Market Intelligence Manager to own how we understand livestream shopping markets and adjacent markets. You will turn fragmented data into a trusted market picture and work with data engineering, analytics, sales, product, and leadership to back decisions impacting pricing and customer experience.

You will lead dashboards and reports for varied executives, manage vendor data quality, and influence strategy in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment within our hybrid US hubs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 5–6+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking/private equity, a fast-growing startup, or a similarly rigorous analytical environment.
• Strong analytical rigor — proficient with SQL and data infrastructure end-to-end.
• Experience building dashboards and reports for varied audiences.
• Experience managing external vendor relationships and data quality management.
• Ability to think strategically and execute in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
• Fluency in using AI tools to enhance problem-solving, analysis, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Own market intelligence for livestream shopping and adjacent markets to inform product, pricing, and customer-experience decisions.
• Turn fragmented and noisy data into a trusted picture of the market.
• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, sales, account management, product, marketing, and senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve the buyer and seller experience and monitor market trends across product, pricing, and policy.
