Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least five years of experience in marine or property claims management.

• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Learns, leverages, and develops team member strengths and skillsets with assigned work.
• Proactively monitors and corrects performance through reviews and audits based on standardized metrics.
• Leads regular meetings to mentor direct reports and resolve issues.
• Assists in development and refinement of processes, reporting, data management, and workflow automation.
• Assigns incoming workflow within the claim team based on client relationships and skillsets.
• Monitors productivity to achieve production goals.
• Maintains client relationships and attends local trade events.
• Maintains a partial caseload of claim files.
• Mentors team members toward development and growth.
• Monitors quality control through file audits and reviews.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to laws and company policies.
• Travels as needed to support onboarding, client visits, and leadership meetings.
