Job summary

HireCapital is seeking a Manufacturing Program Manager to own multiple projects, translate client technical requirements into scalable manufacturing processes, and collaborate with engineering and executive leadership to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely service delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing project management, strong operations background, and experience with ERP and CAD tools. This remote role follows US East Coast hours and includes 25% travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in Industrial Engineering or Engineering Management.
5+ years of end-to-end Manufacturing Project Management experience.
Ability to translate client requirements into manufacturing processes.
Experience with MRP/ERP software and CAD tools.
Data-driven approach to operations decisions.
Entrepreneurial and business development mindset.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary client contact, translating requirements into project scopes and schedules.
Develop and manage project plans, staffing, budgets, milestones, and resources.
Oversee a portfolio of up to 10–15 concurrent client projects across varied manufacturing environments.
Manage projects from initial requirements through delivery, ensuring quality and on-time execution.
Identify risks, scope changes, and mitigation plans; lead issue resolution.
Collaborate with Design Engineering and Manufacturing Operations to ensure manufacturability.
Lead efforts to resolve production challenges, improve manufacturability, and ensure readiness.
Coordinate development and implementation of manufacturing processes, tooling, and improvements.
Align resources and engineering priorities with client requirements and project objectives.
Partner with Finance and C-Suite to manage budgets, labor, costs, and profitability.
Support change-orders, scope assessments, and client discussions on services and costs.
Ensure project execution aligns with industry standards and organizational procedures.
Oversee vendor and contractor management within project scope.
Contribute to strategic planning for facility expansion and staff growth.
