Job summary

The Davis Companies is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead execution of complex automation and capital equipment projects in Nashua, NH. You will be the primary contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and meeting expectations.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, and Customers to manage scope, schedules, financial performance, risk, and communications throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of project or program management experience supporting engineering, automation, manufacturing, machinery, or capital equipment projects.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, customer relationships, and cross-functional teams.

POSITION SUMMARY

Our client is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the execution of complex automation and capital equipment projects. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with customer expectations.

The Program Manager will work closely with Engineering, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, and Customers to oversee all aspects of project execution, including scope, schedule, financial performance, risk management, and customer communication.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the successful delivery of customer projects while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Manage customer communications and coordinate project meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define project scope, schedules, deliverables, and resource requirements.
• Establish and maintain project schedules, budgets, and key milestones within ERP and project management systems.

• Support purchase order management, billing activities, invoicing, and project setup processes.
• Develop and deliver project status reports and communicate project performance to stakeholders.
• Identify risks, manage scope changes, and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with internal project management processes.
• Demonstrate professionalism and provide exceptional service to customers and team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, customer-focused professional with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. They must be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Project, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing complex automation, capital equipment, machinery, or manufacturing projects.
• Strong project planning, financial tracking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to gather requirements, manage project documentation, and facilitate communication across multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team-building capabilities.
• PMP certification or the ability to obtain project management certification is preferred.
