Job summary
Cisco is seeking an Industry Solutions Engineer for Manufacturing to act as the technical authority on OT/IT convergence and industrial security. You will map data sources like SCADA/PLC/MES to Cisco/Splunk platforms, design tailored demos, and drive AI-powered optimization across production and supply chain.
You will collaborate with sales and product teams to influence roadmaps, support high-visibility deployments, and ensure successful adoption of complex solutions in manufacturing
Qualifications
- 5+ years in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting role, with manufacturing focus.
- Experience with OT/ICS environments (SCADA, PLCs, MES) and IT/OT convergence security and monitoring.
- Experience with SIEM/SOAR, observability, or industrial monitoring platforms, with data modeling knowledge.
- Experience integrating SAP ecosystems with back-office workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead as the technical expert on Manufacturing use cases, including OT/ICS security and production uptime.
- Design and deliver tailored demos, POVs, and reference architectures mapping Splunk to manufacturing environments (SCADA, PLC, MES, IIoT).
- Drive AI adoption and tooling to automate order processing, invoicing, sourcing, fraud detection, product ordering, and warehousing.
- Architect and demonstrate SAP integration to connect plant-floor operations with back-office systems.
